I always get a black screen with my desktop (Desktop display is 1080p 60 hz btw). I tried using an hdmi 2.0 cable, certified for 4K but to no avail. I’m currently using AMD Radeon Adrenalin edition 19.7.2 drivers with GPU scaling on, virtual super resolution on, color depth 10 bpc and pixel format RGB 4:4:4 PC standard (full RGB). They both work and boot flawlessly with the deep color option enabled. This however does NOT happen with my PS3 OR my Asus laptop. If I disable the option I can see the desktop just fine. Here’s the problem: Whenever I use the desktop having the hdmi ultra hd deep color option enabled I get a black screen immediately after the windows 10 pro logo stops spinning. I connect it to the av receiver through the hdmi port of the gpu. My desktop has an FX 6350 cpu, an ATI Radeon 7870 gpu, 8gb DDR 3 and an Asus m5a97 r2.0 mainboard. Occasionally, I also connect via hdmi and through the receiver my Asus x551 laptop. The receiver in turn is connected with my 4K tv via hdmi. I have a Yamaha rxv-1800 av receiver connected with a PS3 and a desktop PC. First of all let me start by describing my rig: I recently bought an LG 55 uk6750 4K TV and I’m having trouble with the hdmi ultra hd deep color option.
